The NextGen Healthcare Summer Camps will be held from June 22–25, 2025.

Please don’t hesitate to contact Dr. Nicole Gilbertson, camp director, if you have any questions! Dr. Gilbertson can be reached at 717-867-6843 or gilberts@lvc.edu.

The camp is designed for rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

We accept registrations until all spaces are filled.

You’ll be notified by email, and that email will also include payment instructions and a request for information regarding allergies, medication, or other particular needs of the student.

Full refunds will be issued for camper cancellation before May 15, 2025. No refunds will be offered for camper cancellation after May 15. In the unlikely event of camp cancellation, full refunds will be issued.

A detailed camp schedule will be sent to all enrolled students in late May. A typical day will consist of morning and afternoon sessions centered around the health professions programs offered at LVC.

  • Check-in is at Arnold Health Professions Pavilion (AHPP) on Sunday, June 22, from 3–4 p.m.
  • Pick-up is on Wednesday, June 25, from 5–7 p.m. The location for pick-up will be provided at check-in.

You should bring clothes, towels, sheets, a pillow, and toiletries. Meals will be provided, and you can bring snacks to keep in your residence hall room. Single beds in residence halls are usually ‘extra-long,’ but ordinary sheets can typically be stretched to fit.

The camp fee is $595 for residential campers and $395 for commuters. The fee covers all camp-related expenses including meals, a camp T-shirt, program expenses (example: CPR Certification), and for residential campers this includes the room in the residential hall.

Students will live in a residence hall with Camp Counselors, who are current LVC students chosen specifically for that task. The residence halls are always locked, and LVC Campus Safety officers are always on duty. The camp director can be contacted at any time by the Camp Counselors.

If a student gets sick or injured, parents/guardians will be contacted. In case of an emergency, the student will be transported to the nearest hospital.
