Student Philanthropy

At LVC, giving isn’t about how much—it’s about why and where. As a student, you have the power to decide where your gift goes and what it supports. Scholarships, culturally immersive events, academics, athletics—you choose what matters most to you.?

Understanding how philanthropy shapes your LVC experience now puts you in control of the legacy you help build. Every gift, at every level, fuels opportunities that set us apart—on campus and in the workforce.?

You’re not just giving back. You’re moving LVC forward.?

Graduates For The Valley Fund

The Graduates For The Valley Fund (GFTVF) celebrates a meaningful tradition at Lebanon Valley College, where both graduating undergraduate scholars and graduate students give back in honor of their LVC journey. This initiative provides a special opportunity to support the people, programs, and places that made their time at The Valley unforgettable—and to pay it forward for the next generation of Dutchmen.?

Each year, donors choose to support areas that matter most to them—whether it’s The Valley Fund (which meets the College’s greatest needs), scholarships and financial aid, academic departments, service projects, athletic teams, or other impactful funds.?

In 2025, members of the Class of 2025 presented President James MacLaren with a check totaling $2,053.41 during the annual champagne toast.?

By making a gift, graduates leave their legacy at LVC—honoring the experiences that shaped them while helping to create new opportunities for those who follow.?

Those who participate in the Graduates For The Valley Fund are recognized on the Class Giving Honor Roll, proudly wear their Legacy Giving Pin, and are welcomed into the Walter Society, joining a dedicated community of donors committed to the College’s mission and future.?

This is a long-standing and cherished tradition that reflects the pride, gratitude, and generosity of our graduates.
